Neurology NP needed for telehealth and/or hybrid coverage in Southfield, Michigan

JOB DESCRIPTION

Minimum of two years’ experience practicing as an Adult Neurology Nurse Practitioner. This allows time for providers to gain experience as a practicing Neurology APP to be able to successfully practice virtually. The Neurology NP will work with Psychiatrists & Mental Health Therapists to diagnose and treat patients with stroke, seizures, MS, TBI, epilepsy, chronic back pain, neuropathy etc. The NP will independently perform new patient consultations and see follow up patients to review diagnostic testing -pharmco-EEG, EEG, SSEP, VEP, VAT-ENG, sleep study- and make recommendations for treatment. At Rubix Mental Health we also offer holistic treatment options such as Neurofeedback, HEG-biofeedback, virtual VX Therapy, Counseling, Infrared Helmet and other options

• Projected Volumes:
• Average of 8-10 total encounters with the oversight from a Neurology board-certified physician, with roughly 75% of those being follow ups
• Documentation:
• Responsible for documenting initial evaluation & progress note for all follow-up patients that are seen

Salary: $75.00 - $85.00 per hour
